iRobot is committed to building a future for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education in the United States. Our multi-faceted outreach program is a resource for students, parents and educators to share in our excitement for the robotics industry and get an inside look at what we do here.
Would your class, robotics team, or educational group like to visit the iRobot Corporate Headquarters? Would you like iRobot to visit your educational group? Tours include a visit to our museum and, availability permitting, a robot demo. In addition, iRobot provides mentoring, career introduction and internships, all geared toward connecting students to the opportunities provided by a STEM education and occupation. The Cool Stuff Museum will reopen Spring of 2020.
Create 2 is an affordable, ready to go, mobile robot platform for educators, students and developers. Use it to grasp the fundamentals of robotics, computer science and engineering by programming behaviors, sounds and movements and attaching sensors, electronics, cameras, grippers and more.
The eleventh annual National Robotics Week event will be held April 4-12, 2020. RoboWeek 2019 was awesome and 2020 promises to be even better! Activities can be small, large, and everything in between.
