Patented Cleaning Systems

Scooba 200 Series models clean your small spaces using a three-stage cleaning system, all you have to do is sweep. Scooba lays down fresh solution, then uses scrubbing brushes to loosen grime and a squeegee vacuum to lift away dirty water.

Scooba 300 Series models use a 4-stage cleaning system to wash your floors, no pre-sweeping required. Scooba preps your floor, picking up dirt, sand and crumbs. Cleaning solution is then put down and powerful brushes go to work to remove dirt and spills. Finally, a squeegee-vacuum picks up the dirty solution, leaving a clean floor behind.

Advanced Water Management Systems
|
Unlike a mop that puts dirty water back on your floors, all Scooba models use advanced water management systems to keep the clean solution and dirty water separate inside the robot. The Scooba 200 Series uses an active reservoir design to help minimize the product's overall size – as clean solution is put down, that reservoir shrinks, freeing up space inside the robot to contain the dirty water.

Cleaning Solutions
|
Scooba Hard Floor Cleaner, Natural Enyzme Formula, is the only product specially designed to be safe for use with all Scooba models. Simply using warm water or water and vinegar will also work great. Use of other cleaning formulas is not recommended, as they may damage Scooba.

Floor Types
|
Scooba has been specifically engineered to be safe and effective on hard floor surfaces, including tile, linoleum, vinyl, marble, slate, stone and sealed hardwood. Scooba is not recommended for use on unfinished or unsealed hard floor surfaces, carpet, rugs or waxed floors. Additionally, Scooba is not for use with laminate flooring, which may be damaged by wet cleaning methods.

Using iAdapt, iRobot’s advanced system of software and sensors, Scooba washes every section of your floor multiple times to ensure the most thorough coverage possible, getting under and around furniture, along wall edges and avoiding stairs.

Cleaning Modes
|
Scooba 200 Series has two cleaning cycles. Choose the full, 45-minute cycle for larger rooms or rooms that need extra cleaning time and the short, 20-minute cycle for a quick clean-up in small areas.

Room Confinement
|
A Virtual Wall® barrier is a Scooba accessory that emits an infrared beam that Scooba won't cross, keeping the robot in the rooms you want to clean and out of the ones you don't.
