Brigade Combat Team Modernization - Program of Record

As a key partner in the U.S. Army’s Brigade Combat
Team Modernization program, iRobot is developing the
next-generation SUGV (Small Unmanned Ground
Vehicle), a tactical robot that can enter and secure
areas that are either inaccessible or too dangerous
for soldiers.

Key Features

Lightweight and easy to carry, SUGV 300 Series robots weigh about 30 lbs.

Smaller and lighter versions of the combat-proven iRobot^® PackBot^®, SUGV 300 Series robots easily climb stairs, roll over obstacles and enter inaccessible and dangerous areas.

SUGV 300 Series robots operate in a variety of conditions and weather, as well as on rough terrain and in urban settings.

SUGV 300 Series robots feature a modular design that accommodates a wide range of optional payloads and sensors, including a dexterous manipulator.
