What's the difference between Roomba 500 and Pet Series?
Roomba Pet Series robots include the latest 500 Series innovations plus special features that help pet owners tackle hairy situations. In addition to a Vacuuming Bin, the Pet Series also includes a High Capacity Sweeper Bin that holds 3.5 more debris. The Vacuuming Bin is best for routine floor maintenance and the Sweeper Bin is ideal for picking up large amounts of pet hair, tracked in dirt, kitty litter and kibble. The specially designed Pet Series brushes are easy to clean with the provided brush cleaning tools. An extra set of brushes is included so you can quickly snap in clean brushes then remove hair and debris from the dirty brushes at your leisure.

How will my pet react to the Roomba Pet Series?
Each pet responds differently. Most are initially curious but will quickly learn to ignore it. Although some pets play with Roomba! Special safety features, including gentle-bump sensors, anti-tangle technology and automatic shut-off, keep your pet safe and ensure that noses and paws will not be harmed if a curious pet interacts with Roomba. We recommend that you run Roomba for the first few cleaning cycles while you are at home with your pet(s) so they can get used to it. After that, you can run Roomba whether you're at home or on the go!

Does the Roomba Pet Series pick up hair from hard floors and carpets?
Yes! Roomba Pet is specially designed to automatically adjust its cleaning head and brush height for optimal pickup from carpets to hard floors and back again. The specially designed brushes grab hair from carpets and hard floors while the Sidebrush reaches outside of the robot's body to remove pet hair, dirt, kitty litter and more from wall edges and corners.
