Scooba uses a 4 stage cleaning process to wash your floors. As Scooba navigates its way around a room, it preps, washes, scrubs and sucks up the dirty water, covering each part of the floor an average of 5 times to ensure a thorough clean.

Scooba uses its own vacuum cleaner to suck up loose dirt, sand and crumbs so your floor surfaces are ready for washing. There’s no need to sweep before Scooba cleans.

Scooba sprays your floor with fresh water and cleaning solution from its clean tank so there is no need for a mop or subsequent bucket of dirty water.

The rotating brush of the Scooba robot scrubs your floor, gently removing dirt, grime and spills.

Finally, Scooba sucks up the dirty water – and the dirt and germs with it – and stores it safely in a separate compartment away from the cleaning solution.

Scooba uses iAdapt^® Responsive Cleaning Technology, our advanced system of software and sensors that actively responds to the environment to make intelligent cleaning decisions in the real world. It’s the most actively intuitive technology of its kind, monitoring its surroundings over 60 times per second and responding in real time with more than 40 different mobility behaviours. 

Scooba can therefore cover 3 or 4 rooms on a single battery charge and navigate around furniture.

Thanks to its intelligent iAdapt^® system, Scooba is able to detect and avoid surfaces that aren’t suitable for washing, such as rugs and carpets, whilst also avoiding drop-off areas such as stairs, due to its in-built Cliff Detect™ technology.
